Amity Education Group is India’s leading private education group, ranked amongst the highest 3% Universities Globally by QS(we are ranked #1 in Asia and #34 within the world for our flagship program- Online MBA), UK rankings and therefore the only University in India with the very best US & UK accreditation. Our programs also are WES accredited within the US & Canada. We were the very first in India to urge UGC approval for our online programs.

Online learning, also referred to as distance education, may be a good way to experience the U.S. education system without leaving home. U.S. institutions offer a spread of full-time degree programs at undergraduate and graduate levels also as individual courses.

Classes are facilitated through a spread of methods, including websites, mobile apps, email, telephones, and more. To receive credit from a U.S. institution for distance learning, the scholar usually pays a tuition fee.

There are options now available for online learning like Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) that are usually tuition-free, but in most cases don't offer credit. The U.S. Department of State also facilitates a free in-person MOOC Camp program in many countries.

In addition to full-time degree programs or individual courses, some U.S. institutions of upper education offer part-time blended programs which will be partially online and need occasional on-campus attendance, called "low-residency programs."

Students taking full-time online programs aren't eligible for U.S. student visas but, when short-term U.S. attendance is required for low residency programs, a student visa is required . Students attending a U.S. university face to face for full-time degree study and who also are enrolled in any online courses should speak with the institution's Designated School Official (DSO) within the International Student and Scholar Office to make sure visa compliance.

Why do students enroll in distance education?

They have childcare or eldercare obligations.

They cannot take time faraway from their current jobs to reinforce their future employment possibilities.

The program could also be offered at a location that's not feasible to attend for economic, cultural, or political reasons.

Consider the following:

Is the university accredited?

How long has the institution been enrolling students during this program?

How often and thru what means is that the program and curriculum reviewed?

What is the typical length of your time it takes for a student to finish this program?

Where are you able to find evaluations of this program?

I’d wish to think I’m pretty digitally savvy. On the rare occasions I’m not woken by one among my kids, I can calculate the alarm on my iPhone to stop any chance of a lie-in. Our house in Dubai hums with wireless wifi, I stay online in my car and office, and have come to believe streaming services like Spotify and Netflix, to not mention the myriad benefits of smart air conditioning technology, especially within the summer months.

Do you think you've got good analytical and interpersonal skills? If so, you’re in luck. Today’s industries are crying out for job candidates with these abilities, much more so than within the past, where manual labor had a special set of requirements.

It’s certainly a special lifestyle to the one I grew up in. But I’m equally sure that as adults, my sons and daughter are going to be using technology which will be light years before what we use today. Quite what which will be remains to be seen, but regardless of its shape or form, we'd like to make sure that subsequent generation are going to be equipped for this changing world – starting in class .

Our research has revealed that students got to learn 16 skills in three broad categories: foundational literacies, competencies, and character qualities. By “foundational literacies” I mean literacy, numeracy, and scientific literacy – all of which may be applied to everyday tasks. But although these have shaped classroom lessons for generations, digital advances mean that youngsters today must now supplement these basic skills with the required competencies and character qualities that employers want and wish .

What sorts of employment do graduates of this program find?

Will this program be recognized in your home country or by employers?
