11 years have passed since the establishment of the State Climate Change Department. Then the state government today announced some important schemes. The Chief Minister has announced battery-powered two-wheeler assistance. Earlier, Mahila Utkarsh Yojana, Drinking Water Supply Scheme, Ukai Reservoir Based Group Water Supply Scheme was e-launched. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has announced an aid scheme to encourage the use of battery-powered two-wheelers and three-wheelers to curb air pollution from vehicles in the state's towns and cities. In which 12 thousand individual assistance has been given for the purchase of battery powered two wheeler for students from standard 9 to college. The target is to provide subsidy to 10,000 vehicles. So for the purchase of e-rickshaws for individual and institutional beneficiaries, the amount of direct assistance has been deposited in the accounts of 48 thousand beneficiaries. The budget of the Climate Change Department was Rs 101 crore in the year 2010-11 which has crossed Rs 1,000 crore in the year 2020-21. 97% of the budget is directly used for public welfare and welfare of the people. The State Government's Climate Change Department has signed Virtual MoUs with 10 different organizations. Were also made.


Book release describing the story of achievements

A book depicting the achievements of the department was launched in the presence of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. The book titled Building a Climate Resilient Gujarat, A Decade of Climate Action and a Road Map for the Future was e-released by the Chief Minister. The Climate Change Department has many achievements. Many beneficiaries in the state have benefited. If we talk about it, Rs 190 crore has been allotted to 65 thousand beneficiaries under the residential rooftop scheme.


Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana gift to women of Gujarat

The Chief Minister launched the Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana for the women of Gujarat. Our aim is to provide financial support to a total of 50 lakh people in the family by connecting 10 lakh sisters through 1 lakh Sakhi Mandals in this scheme. By calling women as Shaktisvarupa, we will achieve the goal of all-round development of femininity by making the proud place given to her in our culture as a male equivalent female power in the present times.


Ukai Reservoir based group water supply scheme

Ukai reservoir based group water supply scheme for a total of 205 villages in Sagbara and Dadiapada of Narmada district and Songadh taluka of Tapi district was e-launched. Panchamrut i.e. five development programs have been launched. To connect the entire tribal area from Ambaji to Umargam into the mainstream - for all-round development, the Prime Minister has allocated Rs. Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana worth over Rs 1 lakh crore has been implemented.
